Polling Place Date and Time

LOCATION AND HOURS OF POLLING PLACE

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY given that a General Election for Wards 1 & 2 in the Town of Herman will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2017.  The polls at the Herman Town Hall, W1892 Rock Rd, will open at 7:00 am and close at 8:00 pm. The Polling Place is accessible to elderly and disabled voters.

Notice of Meeting of the Local Board of Canvassers

At the close of voting on Election, pursuant to the provisions of Wis. Stat §19.84, the Election Inspectors will convene as the Local Canvassing Board for the purpose of conducting the local canvass pursuant to Wis. Stat §7.51. This meeting will be open to the public pursuant to Wis. Stat §19.81-89.

Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting

TOWN OF HERMAN, DODGE COUNTY, WISCONSIN

 

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Town of Herman Zoning Board of Appeals on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at 8:00 p.m. at the Herman Town Hall on the request of Emmanuel Lutheran Church for a variance to the Town of Herman Code of Ordinances §384-17 C(1)(b) and §384-46A(1) for property located in the NW ¼ of the NE ¼ of Section 14. The variance requested is to reduce the minimum requirement of a side yard of a principle building and for a variance to change the entryway steps to a deck which is in the required road set back.   All persons interested are invited to attend and be heard.  Board members and Plan Commission members may be in attendance at this hearing.

Public Test for Spring Elections

TOWN OF HERMAN
PUBLIC NOTICE
Under Wisconsin State Statute 5.84(1), the Town of Herman will be conducting a public test on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 9:30am of the optical ballot tabulation system and touch screen equipment to ascertain that it will correctly count the votes cast for all offices and on all measures for the Spring Election to be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. The test will be performed in the clerk’s office at N7240 Ferris Road, Mayville. The test is open to the public.

PLAN COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING

 

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held by the Town of Herman Plan Commission and Town Board on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 7:00pm at the Herman Town Hall, W1892 Rock Rd, to hear and consider taking action on the following:

 

  1. A Public Hearing for a minor land division application by Tim Mader owner of property Letitia M Mader Trust to create an agricultural parcel under the Land Division & Development, Chapter 251, Code of Ordinances, Town of Herman, Dodge County, Wisconsin in the NW and NE ¼ of the SE ¼ of Section 7

 

Public comment from residents, property owners and other affected parties will be heard.  All interested parties are welcome to attend.

 

Immediately following the adjournment of the Plan Commission meeting, the Town Board will convene to consider the recommendations made by the Plan Commission and possibly take action on them.
